Dr. Lt. Col. Sir Ziauddin Ahmed - a man of vision
Dr. Sir Ziauddin Ahmed (1877 - 1947) was an outstanding and versatile educationist and political figure, he was also the longest serving Vice-Chancellor in the history of Aligarh Muslim University. His close association with Sir Syed Ahmed Khan added to his stature and dignity.

He had a dream to establish a medical college at Aligarh Muslim University which was not realised in his life time. This dream of his came true with the establishment of Ziauddin Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan.
Dr. Ziauddin University functions as the teaching learning centre.

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital is our main teaching facility for clinical training and research for undergraduate and postgraduate medical, nursing, and physiotherapy students in addition to B.Sc. Medical Technologists.

This Hospital has received recognition from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) for undergraduate....
